Hi, I'm Marissa. Like most children, growing up I was always fascinated with flying and airplanes... which is probably why I eventually became a flight attendant when I "grew up!"
Knowing how much seeing the world and experiencing other cultures inspires children (and adults!), I created Tiny Travellers as a unique, fun and interesting way for kids to experience different cultures. Tiny Travellers is a simulated aircraft experience which provides children with an exciting and authentic flight and travel adventure.
My family loves to travel overseas, meet new people and experience new cultures and foods. So I have combined my professional experience as a flight attendant and my personal experience as a Mother to create a realistic and exciting travel experience for kids (minus the typical airport/flight delays!!!).
These are my little boys - Henry and his little brother Hudson. From the moment Henry was born, he was destined to be a world traveller (and possibly a Captain too!)! He was lucky enough to visit eighteen countries before he turned five years old. This is because I believe travel and cultural awareness are important qualities for our children to learn, so they can grow up to be "citizens of the world." And judging by the looks of things, little Hudson looks to be flying down the same path as his Big Brother!
As parents, we are raising our children to be understanding and embracing of other cultures, and encouraging our children to make friends from different countries. This value has been the underpinning of Tiny Travellers, so we pride ourselves on providing an authentic, culturally appropriate and sensitive program for all of our travellers.
The experiences we create for our tiny travellers are authentic - especially since they are hosted by experienced "real-life" cabin crew. Therefore our focus is equally on ensuring safety as well as delivering an exceptional inflight service experience. For the Party Plane, we are supported by a fully qualified Primary School Teacher for the delivery of our "in country" experiences. Kid friendly, country-specific meals are also provided as part of the "Party Plane" experience.
